How long is the Hogwarts Legacy story?
“`html
As with many of the other great open-world games from the past few years, Hogwarts Legacy is packed full to the brim with content. For starters, just like the Harry Potter books and movies that inspired it, the game features a fantastic main story, though this is only a small part of what’s on offer for players. In addition to main story quests, players can also tackle a wide range of side quests and special assignments, all of which help to pad out the total length of an average playthrough. Those looking for a title that they can sink a lot of hours into are therefore in luck, as Hogwarts Legacy is far from a short game.
Updated May 5, 2023: After a wait of almost three months, Hogwarts Legacy has finally arrived on last-gen consoles, allowing Xbox One and PS4 owners to enjoy this enchanting RPG. Though the visuals may not be quite as impressive, the main story is just as enjoyable, but some players may be wondering how long it takes to beat.
It will take most players around 25 hours to complete the main story of Hogwarts Legacy, though this may vary a little depending on which difficulty setting players choose and how much of the game’s side content they engage with as they tackle the main story quests. Completing everything in Hogwarts Legacy will take around 65 hours, though again, there may be a little variance here and there.
There are 13 main story quests in Hogwarts Legacy, with each one broken up into a series of smaller subquests and tasks. Some can be completed relatively quickly, while others will take players quite a bit longer. What’s more, some of these quests will task players with completing special assignments for their professors, many of which involve completing side quests. This means that players will need to complete several of Hogwarts Legacy’s side quests as part of the main story.
Hogwarts Legacy does not have a New Game+ mode, though there are a few things that players can do after finishing the main story. As well as being able to mop up any remaining side quests, they’ll also gain access to a few new main story missions, one of which requires them to find every page of the Wizard’s Field Guide. There’s another one in which the winners of the house cup will be decided, though players will only be able to unlock this once they’ve reached Level 34.
Players are also free to replay the game as a student from one of the other three houses, which will grant access to a few different house-specific quests. Doing so will be essential for those hoping to fully complete Hogwarts Legacy, as there is a Trophy/Achievement tied to each of the school’s four houses. Thankfully, though, players won’t need to complete the game four times to unlock the Platinum Trophy, as these house-specific Trophies are unlocked fairly early on in the main story.
Hogwarts Legacy is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. A Switch version is currently in development.

Can you get a girlfriend in Hogwarts Legacy?

I’m wondering if I’m able to get my flirt on with someone from Hogwarts. Is it possible to have a romantic relationship with anyone in Hogwarts Legacy?
asked Jul 20, 2023 at 18:34
No. While you can form platonic relationships and deepen friendships with schoolmates in Hogwarts Legacy, you cannot indulge in any romance. This was a conscious decision not to include romance options in Hogwarts Legacy from Avalanche Software (the game’s developers). The developers stated it in an interview with GamePro. So it’s unlikely we’ll ever see this coming to the game in a future update.

Does Hogwarts Legacy have multiple endings?
“`html
Endings Guide for Hogwarts Legacy features guided information about the game’s conclusion. This page covers all the possible Endings to Hogwarts Legacy that players can attain by completing the Main Story, as well as other necessary objectives, impactful choices to make, items and equipment to collect in order to achieve a certain outcome. Also included is information on whether or not certain choices players make throughout the playthrough will affect the Ending they get, or other effects and the weight of such choices.
Following in the traditions of many story-driven, open-world titles, Hogwarts Legacy has multiple endings. There are a total of 3 possible Endings in Hogwarts Legacy that players can achieve. These have been colloquially dubbed the Good Ending, the Evil / Bad Ending, and the True Ending. Of these three, only the Good and Evil endings are affected by your choices and/or actions, while the True Ending is achievable regardless.
As noted above, only the Good and Evil endings constitute different outcomes for the conclusion of Hogwarts Legacy. Thankfully, both endings are very easy to achieve as they hinge on a single choice you have to make near the end of the game’s penultimate quest “The Final Repository”, right before the final boss fight. See the All Endings section below for details on this choice and how to achieve both endings.
Players will be able to achieve either the Good and True ending or the Evil and True ending. Depending on what choices the player makes in dialogues as well as during the end game, it will determine whether players get the Good ending or the Evil ending. After the ending cinematic has passed, players will find themselves back at Hogwarts Castle.
The Post-Game begins after completing “The Final Repository”. Players are free to explore the world and finish up any remaining Side Quests, Challenges and complete their Collections. This is in fact a pre-requisite for attaining the True Ending. Additionally, all the Battle Arenas can be challenged as many times as possible for players who enjoy honing their combat abilities.
It is possible to achieve all three Endings in a single playthrough. This can be done by creating a separate save file during The Final Repository when you receive the “Defeat Ranrok’s Loyalists” objective. This is the point prior to when you have to make the choice that will decide whether you get the Good Ending or the Evil Ending. The True Ending is attainable in the Post-Game and is available after either outcome is achieved.
In the context of the overall story, playing a Good or Evil Character throughout Hogwarts Legacy has very little impact. The game features a very simple morality system that mostly hinges on dialogue options which tend to be very black and white. Aside from the choice between the Good and Evil Endings, there are no penalties for performing actions that can be considered “evil” or “bad” nor are there any particular incentives to be the token “good” student.

Is it worth it to finish Hogwarts Legacy?

It took me around one hundred and fifteen hours to finish the game. When I considered myself done, I had technically completed just over 90% of the challenges. My rank was 37. I had finished all the main and side quests. My clothing was comprised of legendary and fully upgraded items. My broom was fully upgraded, and my room of requirement was fully populated with every type of plant, potion, station, and animal.
At my character’s level 37, I could two-shot most Trolls if the first hit was Petrificus Totalus. I fully upgraded the binding spell along with the stealth Disillusionment charm as fast as the game would allow. The sneak attack that is possible when the two spells are used in conjunction was invaluable throughout the entire game. I used the combo for clearing bandit camps, spider’s nests, and troll lairs galore. The strategy works best once you are able to run while under Disillusionment.
Overall Hogwarts Legacy was a fantastic adventure game. If you are a Harry Potter fan in general, then roaming the castle in all its 4K glory on a high-end PC or console is an epic experience all on its own. Even if you don’t play the rest of the game, it is worth the cost to be able to dig into every nook and cranny of the famous castle and its grounds.
Taken as a whole, the game’s main story was interesting and easy to follow. The plot twists weren’t unexpected, but at least they made sense in the story’s context. The characters were fairly well developed.
There were lots of enemy form factors to master, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. I was surprised by the number of mini games like:
- broom racing
- bowling with a magical twist
- puzzles (Merlin Trials)
- shape matching
- some simple math problems
The list goes on and on. The game is also a collector’s paradise, clothing, wands, brooms, animals and plants, potions, money, upgrades, and more are found all over the place. The story lines in most of the side-quests aligned with the main branch in the end. There weren’t any major plot holes or open-ended story lines left dangling once I’d finished all the quests.
If you are considering playing the game all the way though, you should be aware that the difficulty increases significantly once you travel to the southern portion of the map. The scenery was beautiful. The mountains, streams, towns, buildings and various environments were all well-crafted, kept in decent scale to each other, and the color palette was realistic.
The NPCs had varying snippets and there were enough of them to make the world feel populated. The shops and shopkeepers were interesting. The currency system was easy to understand, and it didn’t take much effort to earn enough to be successful.
A tip for those just getting started, capturing and selling animals to Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade is one of the fastest ways I found to amass a fortune.
The broom racing was fun, easy to do as a form of transportation, but difficult to master for racing. The combat was well designed.

Is Spider-Woman Mary Jane?
“`html
Mary Jane Watson-Parker, also known by her secret alter-ego, Spider-Woman, is a crime-fighting vigilante in New York, known to be the matriarch of the Parker-Watson hero family in the future, as well as being the wife of Peter Parker and the mother of Anna-May Watson-Parker and Ben Parker-Watson.
She is an entrepreneur and the owner of her own moderately successful exclusive-fashionwear business and was formerly an investigative journalist and current-affairs editor for The Daily Globe, which after being destroyed, had become a subsidiary of The Daily Bugle. After being wedded to Peter Parker, she had only briefly maintained her career as a chief current affairs editor for the Bugle but knowing she couldn’t fully devote to her demanding job and also make do with her husband’s strenuous career as a superhero, she made a sacrifice for their family and quit the journalism/news industry to focus on her childhood dream of being an owner of her own company as well as a fashion designer, combining her two dreams and creating the Watson Collection.
MJ was a very social and active child, making friends easily, as her parents moved from one place to another, due to her father’s job. However, her father had soon become abusive and cold towards his own children, and thus, she ran away from home and started living in her with her aunt, Anna, moving in the same neighborhood as Peter Parker. Her aunt and Peter’s aunt had become very good friends and tried to set Peter and MJ up multiple times.
Being an attractive, straightforward, independent girl from a young age, all the boys had a crush on her, and one in particular, who was envious of MJ and in disdain after she rejected him, had spread a malicious rumor about her around school, after which students harassed and ostracized her. Although she was deemed an outcast in early school years, she bottled up all her pain and never let it take over her, preferring to put on a strong image and standing up for herself. After the rumors started rolling in about her, she found all boys to be headaches and distanced herself from any thought of possibly dating any boy, despite her being found attractive by many people.
Later onwards, in high school, Mary Jane soon quickly found herself to be popular again, gaining respect for her acting chops in their school’s theatre productions and for her charismatic, admirable personality, becoming friends with Flash Thompson and his clique, who she would sometimes be in conflict with, due to their tendencies of bullying unpopular students. Around this time, she was introduced to Peter Parker, and soon inadvertently discovered about Peter Parker’s identity as the vigilante Spider-Man when she saw him wall-crawling up to his room’s window. She soon fell for Peter even though he was struggling with his feelings for Gwen Stacy, and decided to respect his feelings and never confessed to him and instead became his best friend. The only time she went out with another guy, after deciding to.
